Food was decent. Calamari and burger were disappointing. The Cuban was good. Two stars off for the horrible service.

My husband really enjoyed his meal.. Grilled fish and shrimp.. my steak quesadilla was so greasy all I could taste was oil and it was soggy on bottom. Manager offered to replace meal, so they were going to make it right but I decided I didn't want anything else. I know this is a really popular place with friends I have and tourist. Music was good. Very colorful decor and you can draw on the table cover..

Clean, pleasant atmosphere and great service. Not a far walk from the beach. Plenty of outdoor tables to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine. Enjoyed breakfast that consisted of eggs, potatoes, sausage toast and fresh fruit for a reasonable price. A must visit while on Captiva.

RC Otter's is definitely worth visiting when you visit Captiva. Food is always excellent. Portions are substantial. Beer menu is surprisingly varied. Ambience is all island relaxation. Love it!!!

Stop in today while doing business on Captiva, great waitress, amazing service and absolutely delicious food! Great atmosphere. Will definitely go again. First restaurant visit since our Covid 19 lockdown and was not disappointed.

Best peel and eat shrimp ever. Great vibe. Lobster bisque was amazing. Only negative would be the iced tea. Not good. But the food more than made up for it!

Slow service. Staff challenged by proper mask procedures- not covering nose, one only had plastic shield but no mask. Food was good. Extensive beer list

The food and service were great. Nice big fish portions. Good drinks. The prices are very reasonable considering the location. Not as crowded as the places near buy so that was nice.

WOW!!! Favorite spot on Captiva! Way better than other over rated places. Live music almost every day. Beautiful outdoor seating. Food is AMAZING!!! I had the peel and eat shrimp, Its been 2 weeks and I am still thinking about the fabulous Coch fritters (way better than Key West). Drinks are yummy. Hamburgers are fresh of the grill. Highly recommend the Crabcakes. You will NOT be disappointed. You will talk about this place for a lifetime.

Lovely setting, happy beach colors surround you. The food is delicious and is plated beautifully. Our server, Angie, was fantastic!!!. She interacted with the children - didn't act as if they were invisible. Her service to the adults was precise, correct and prompt. The menu has something for everyone. I found the prices to be so reasonable. What a treat. We were here last year and then, too, we celebrated an early mother's day at your establishment. And... Angie was our server then as well. Old home weekend!!! It will now be a tradition. Thank you.

Awesome place to eat! Very dog friendly. Brought the dogs water before us.. lol. Quesadilla is fantastic. Gave some to my husband for a taste and he refused to give it back. Nice and relaxing plus great staff .... good sweet tea too.

I give this place 5-stars because it offered exactly what I was looking for; a low key, chill place with outdoor dining that was dog friendly. Waiter was great. His beer recommendation was spot-on! The food was excellent; chix/steak fajitas and the crunchy fish platter. We took key lime & pecan pie to go which was also delicious. My only concern was the sign they had hanging at the entrance that said "notice: we do not require our customers to wear a mask". It's was a little concerning that they don't care about the well-being of their patrons. However, we were planning to eat outside anyway and everyone that was seated outside was smart enough to be wearing their masks.

Great food! Staff was also ver nice. Casual dining. Their grouper sandwiches were awesome. They also have vegetarian options, which was helpful for our group.

Stopped by for a leisurely lunch after time on the beach. Food was excellent. Had the blackened grouper sandwich with sweet potato fries. Large piece of fish cooked perfectly. Also had the smoked fish dip to begin. It was simple yet satisfying. Vinnie was singing on the patio which added to a relaxed feel. Cute spot to enjoy some great seafood. Would've given it 5 stars but it took over 10 minutes before anyone spoke to us. Once they did, service was fine.

Food was very much ok. Fries were limp, veggies were unseasoned, slaw was bland. Chicken strips were good. The crab cakes were decent, but the sauce that came with the meals were ????? I have no idea what they are trying to do with this sauce, it was attempting to be aioli I guess, but it was horrible and didn’t go with anything.

Ok... We stopped here because we saw it, looked cute. But.. the food was amazing and they had live music too. Highly recommend.

Loved this place. We were there yesterday and trying to debate on going to the bubble room or trying something new. So glad we tried RC otters with our family. Food was great- definitely comfort food. Price is well too. They have love music too and an ice cream parlor next door. Definitely a must if you are going to Captiva. I had the steak quesadillas, my husband had the chicken quesadillas and lobster bisque and the kids had a hamburger which they said it was juicy. So glad we didn't go back to bubble room- it's over rated

One of the few & the best selections of draft craft beer. I was so happy to see a stout on tap and a Founders Canadian Breakfast Stout no less here at RC Otters! Coming from the Midwest - where stouts, porters and lots of craft brew pubs are widely available - I was surprised to see a minor selection of good craft beer selections available on Sanibell. But RC Otters wins the prize for best beer pub vibes and best selection!

The waiter and waitresses don’t wear masks. There’s a sign on the door emphasizing a NO mask place. It’s a good place but just SAD they don’t think about all the older folks that are high risk and kids vacationing in the area. Very selfish for being a tourist restaurant.

We always love this place! The grouper sandwich is amazing, never had a bad meal. Service is great and love the live music! A must visit place!

It was a good vibe. Yet had 0 gluten free options: so I got a.drink and watched my.family eat. They enjoyed the food though. The service was nice. Lateda coffee place was beyond rude though so do not go there after your good meal or it will sour your time

Service was good, we sat outside because it was a beautiful day. The fish was really good and they had a really nice selection of draft beers. The atmosphere was really eclectic, really cute beach type restaurant.

One of our favorite spots in Captiva. Food is fresh and beer is cold. The wait staff is efficient and helpful without hovering. They always seem to show up at the right moment. Live music in the outdoor area. Colorful decor completes the beach dining experience.

Always a fun place to have dinner. Nice outdoor ambiance, acoustic guitar entertainment, can't forget the ring toss:) I always have their crunchy grouper with their homemade slaw, fantastic!! A must when you're in Captiva!

We stopped here because we missed our turn to a different place. Glad we did. Nice little place. I had a bowl of chowder or what they called chowder. Tomato base with nice chunks of chicken in the soup. Very tasty. We also split a crispy fish sandwich. Fish was Swai breaded and deep fried in bun with tartar, tomato, lettuce, onion. Very tasty also. They also had a person playing vintage rock. He was very good. We enjoyed our stop here and would return.

THIS PLACE IS DISGUSTING. We got there and could only sit us outside which was sweaty. We got sat down and waited 15 minutes for our waiter. We asked a lady and she said “Oh I’m not your waiter”. Rude. Then, a man that was very dirty came out and was very disrespectful. He smacked our drinks on our table and was just so bad. Our food came out the next 5-10 mins and was UNDERCOOKED. The burger was literally raw. Overpriced and gross.

Love the food here. The blackened grouper is amazing! And the live music makes the whole atmosphere just awesome. The guitar player/singer Pat McCune is just great entertainment in his storytelling and the music. Saw him 6 years ago here and love that he's still rockin it!

We always went to RC Otters when my girls were young. That was about 13 years ago, and it's still EXCELLENT! Our food was delicious tonight! Thank you for continuing to live up to our expectations after all these years! ❤️😋🎉

Super friendly staff - from host to bussers - live music, and fresh food. What more can you ask for...Had the fried shrimp to share,And an amazing fresh fried fish sandwich.Very reasonably priced.Cheap beer and the wife enjoyed some sangria. And we're good to go. :)

Food was just ok. Sea food enchiladas had one shrimp, two scallops and the rest was just a very bland fish. No spices at all. Do not recommend ordering. CO2 machine wasn't working, so no draft beers were not available. Also out of many of the other beer options and lemonade. Margaritas were not good. Out of many food options too. Not a good experience.

Live music, relaxed atmosphere, and good food. This place was a great way to end our time in Sanibel.
